But more often than not, I watched the same thing happen over and over:
Cookie-cutter strategies handed down like they'd work for anyone, one-size-fits-all approaches applied to businesses that deserved so much more than that. There is a disconnect between the work and the people it was supposed to serve, and I couldn't ignore it.
So I left. I cared about the teams I worked with, and I wanted to show up for them in a way a big agency never could.

A little bit about the person behind it all
It's supposed to be fun! Not chaotic, overwhelming, or something you dread every Monday morning. When it's working, when the strategy is right, the execution is consistent, and the results are showing up, it feels like a really great party. Everyone's in the right place, the energy is perfect, and you're too busy enjoying it to stress about the details.
Named after my dogs, Max and Lucy (fiercely loyal, laser-focused, zero interest in wasting your time), we exist to make marketing feel the way it should: intentional, energizing, and worth showing up for.

I'm the person who learns your business inside and out before we ever touch a campaign, who shows up to the content shoot, sits in the team meeting, and treats your growth like it's personal, because it is. We celebrate wins loudly around here! Because that's the whole point.

Em + Elle is named after my dogs Max (labradoodle) and Lucy (goldendoodle). They are, objectively, perfect!
I'm an iced coffee year-round kind of gal. My go-to is a coconut iced latte with oat milk!
I'm originally from Maine and carry a lot of the New Englander spirit in my core. Nothing beats a week in Southern Maine in August (it's WICKED fun)!
My favorite fun beverage is a Hugo Spritz! It absolutely never fails me.
I LOVE a good book (my book buying outpaces my book reading, but we don't need to dive into that). My favorite authors are Sarah J Maas, Carley Fortune, and Kristin Hannah!
Concerts are my favorite date night with my husband, John. We've been to almost 30 in NC. My favorite was Kelsea Ballerini's recent Patterns tour, and I did a VIP meet-and-greet, which was a DREAM. They say don't meet your heroes, but I couldn't disagree more.
